The Merry AIgents of Maia · $MAiA on Robinhood Chain
Version 0.2 · Living document. Figures are expressed as percentages and stages, not fixed dates; token amounts are working values to be calibrated against the launch price. Nothing here is a promise of returns — this is an experimental project, not investment advice. See Risk & Disclaimers.
Merry AIgents is a collection of 4,444 dynamic NFTs on Robinhood Chain. Each NFT is not a static picture — it is an autonomous on-chain trading agent (an ERC-6551 token-bound account) dressed as an archer-automaton of Sherwood.
You burn $MAiA to wake your AIgent and to level it up. As it ascends, three things grow together: the art (from a dormant chassis to a fully-equipped elite archer), the DeFi tooling it can run (DCA → grid → autonomous scanning), and the rewards it earns.
A community treasury — The Major Oak Treasury, kept in ETH — is seeded from the sale and put to work in diversified, audited yield. Only the yield funds prizes and buy-back-and-burn; the principal is preserved. In the Robin Hood spirit, the value the machines generate is redistributed to the community that holds them.
The whole collection's art and metadata are already permanent on Arweave — they can never be changed or taken down.
They say Maia was once a girl of flesh — until this new crypto-wood turned cruel. Bandits and swindlers left her broken and robbed of everything. She did not surrender: in those hard days she rebuilt herself, piece by piece, into an android — copper hair, synthetic freckles, optic-blue eyes, the machine showing only at the seams.
She made a vow — to turn the market's own discrepancies into fair yield, to see the openings others miss, and never to hunt alone. So Maia began waking a band of outlaw automatons — archers of iron, rust, brass and mossgrown stone — to take from the market's inefficiency and give the loot back to the forest that shelters them. Because no one gets ahead alone; together, the whole guild rises.
They gather beneath the Major Oak, a thousand-year-old tree whose roots run through every chain and every market. Where Maia hides her nature, the AIgents wear theirs openly: rivets, faceplates, glass-lens eyes. Their bow is an algorithm; their arrow, a well-timed trade; their loot, yield returned to the guild. The ticker carries her name: $MAiA.
Each NFT is a token-bound account (ERC-6551): the NFT literally owns a wallet. That wallet is the agent's body — it can hold assets and execute strategies on-chain. The artwork is the agent's face, and it is dynamic: it changes as the agent ascends, so a holder's progress is visible in the image itself.
4,444 AIgents, loyal to Maia. Assembled from 5 chassis materials — rusted iron, gunmetal steel, brass, a near-human synthetic "cybernoid", and mossgrown stone — layered over 7 forest backgrounds and 10 atmospheric auras, with dozens of face and detail variants. Every one of the 4,444 combinations is unique.
The art style is animated, painterly, storybook — the same world as Maia's portrait. Warm Sherwood palette (deep forest greens, bark brown, brass) with a cyan/teal "quantum" tech accent. Chest-up busts, never photoreal, never a 3D render.
Every AIgent mints dormant: chassis powered down, lens eyes dark, unequipped — waiting for its first spark of $MAiA.
Permanent hosting. All 4,444 images and their metadata are stored on Arweave (a path manifest gives the collection a clean, permanent baseURI). Nothing about the art can be rug-pulled, edited, or lost.
This is the heart of the project. Each level does three things at once: it re-skins the art, unlocks a more capable strategy, and raises your reward multiplier and Vault-draw odds. Rewards come from $MAiA's fee commercialization and the Vault's yield — the tier multiplier is simply how big a slice you earn.
| Tier | Look | Tools / bots | Reward multiplier | Vault draws |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| N0 · Dormant | Powered-down chassis, dark eyes | — (asleep) | — | — |
| N1 · Awakened | Green hood, eyes lit | DCA — $MAiA only | ×1 (base) | — |
| N2 · Armed | Longbow + quiver | Adaptive DCA — any crypto / RWA | ×1.3 | via staking |
| N3 · Equipped | Belt, pouches, dagger, ornate bow | Adaptive DCA + grid-trading bot | ×1.7 | eligible (base odds) |
| N4 · Veteran | Wrist blades, sidearm | + prediction bot, copy-trading, DeFi scanning | ×2.3 | higher odds (~2×) |
| N5 · Guildmaster | Black cloak, golden emblem | Autonomous market / stock / DeFi scanning, fast execution, X-trend scanning, cross-chain | ×3.0 | top odds (~3×) |
The equipment progression (hood → bow → belt/dagger → wrist blades/sidearm → cloak/emblem) is exactly the art ladder built in production, so the visual and the mechanic line up one-to-one.
| Level | Burn $MAiA | or cannibalize (sacrifice) |
|---|---|---|
| N1 · Awakened | 20,000 (activate) | — |
| N2 · Armed | 80,000 | 1× N1 · or 2× N0 |
| N3 · Equipped | 320,000 | 1× N2 · 2× N1 · 3× N0 |
| N4 · Veteran | 1,000,000 | 1× N3 · 2× N2 · 3× N1 · 4× N0 |
| N5 · Guildmaster | 2,000,000 | 1× N4 · 2× N3 · 3× N2 · 4× N1 · 5× N0 |
Cannibalism costs no token — it costs AIgents, permanently shrinking the collection. Activation alone burns a permanent deflation floor of the supply (4,444 × 20,000 ≈ 8.9%).
$MAiA is the fuel and settlement layer of the guild. It launches through the Robinhood-ecosystem launchpad, PONS, so the protocol funds itself from its own fee flow.
The burn is constant. Every activation, ascension, cannibalism and empower removes $MAiA forever — supply only ever goes down.
Holders keep ~85% of their bot's realized profit; the protocol takes ~15%, and nothing at all when a bot is flat or down. That ~15% protocol share is what gets distributed on a published, rule-based schedule — no discretion, verifiable on-chain.
First distribution: one hour after the collection is fully sold out, then on an ongoing cadence. There is no distribution before full sellout.
Phase 1 — bootstrap ("the oak grows"). The Treasury is prioritized until it becomes self-sustaining. This phase lasts until the Major Oak Treasury reaches T = 30 ETH, or the first 12 distributions occur — whichever comes first.
| Destination | Bootstrap % |
|---|---|
| Major Oak Treasury (Vault) | 65% |
| Holder rewards | 35% |
Why T = 30 ETH? T = (annual community payout target) ÷ (estimated net Vault APR). At a conservative net APR (~6%), 30 ETH throws off roughly 1.8 ETH/year in yield — enough to fund rewards from yield alone, without touching principal. (APR is an estimate, never a guarantee.)
Phase 2 — mature ("the oak gives shade"), fixed forever.
| Destination | Mature % |
|---|---|
| Holder rewards | 60% |
| Major Oak Treasury (Vault) | 25% |
| Buy-back-and-burn | 12% |
| Maintenance & infrastructure | 3% |
5% on every secondary sale flows to a shared vault, claimable by holders (OpenSea takes its own 1% separately). Holding benefits you three ways: your own bot's rewards, the fee share, and secondary royalties.
Collection: 4,444 AIgents. Marketplace: OpenSea (own SeaDrop contract) — the only recognized venue that supports our dynamic contract (ERC-6551 + level-by-burning).
| Phase | Access / Supply | Cap / wallet | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Whitelist | 444 access spots → up to 1,776 NFT | 4 NFT | 0.003333 ETH |
| Public | up to 2,668 NFT | — | 0.004444 ETH |
| Total | 4,444 |
Lower prices than a typical mint, on purpose: the goal is attention and a wide, engaged holder base, not a maximal raise.
OpenSea charges 10% on the primary mint, taken off the top first. The net is then allocated:
| Destination | % of net | Held as |
|---|---|---|
| Major Oak Treasury | 55% | ETH — earns yield, funds rewards |
| Marketing + ecosystem | 20% | converted to $MAiA on-market (DCA), no paid KOLs |
| Team + operations | 15% | operations in ETH + a small $MAiA stake (≤5% supply), locked |
| Audit + infrastructure | 10% | ETH / stables — security, hosting, gas |
The portions earmarked for marketing and for the $MAiA acquisition are converted from ETH into $MAiA on the open market after launch, spread over time to limit price impact. The founder takes no pre-minted token bag. Secondary royalties: 100% of the 5% → holders.
The Major Oak Treasury is the community vault — seeded from 55% of the net mint and kept in ETH. Instead of sitting idle, it is put to work.
Strategy — diversified from day one. Split between a conservative, audited lending base and a productive DEX position (e.g. an ETH/USDG pool). Only the yield is ever spent — on community prizes and on buy-back-and-burn of $MAiA / NFTs. The principal is preserved.
Staking. Stake $MAiA (from N2) to earn rewards and to reach the Vault draws earlier. Staking deepens the token sink and rewards long-term participation over short-term flipping.
Roadmap goal — agent autonomy. In a later phase, each activated AIgent operates as its own bot with a funded working balance, where the principal is not withdrawable but the trading yield it generates is. We ship the safe, diversified model first and graduate to per-agent autonomy as tooling and safeguards mature.
The point isn't that the AIgents look like they trade — it's the tooling behind them. Each strategy already exists as a working script; they are test bots, still being polished, and holders get access as each is hardened. The bot-to-tier mapping is finalized before activation. All code is published, cleaned, on GitHub.
Each tool carries a build status: Active (ready), Testing (code exists, being refined), In dev (building, and seeking partnerships with projects in that space for faster, safer access).
Growth is community-driven, not bought. Rather than paying KOLs, the ecosystem/marketing budget (converted to $MAiA) rewards the guild for organic reach: genuine sharing, threads, art and memes; contests and quests with $MAiA and whitelist/NFT prizes; ambassador roles for consistent contributors. The people who build the forest should own a piece of it.
Order matters, and we commit to it — the sequence, stage by stage.
Merry AIgents is an experimental project. Nothing in this document is a promise, guarantee, or projection of profit, and nothing here is investment, legal, or tax advice. Automated trading — including DCA, grid, scalping, prediction-market and any RWA/tokenized-stock activity — can and does incur losses, and short-term drawdowns are normal. Treasury yield strategies carry smart-contract, market, and impermanent-loss risk; yield is variable and never guaranteed. Token and NFT values can go to zero. Participate only with what you can afford to lose, and do your own research. Availability may be restricted in some jurisdictions.
